Yesterday, we had such a lovely Holiday Party!  The Lyric Victorian Carolers sang beautifully, and the meal was delightful.  We even had a gift basket raffle, with prizes donated by one of our wonderful community members.  I want to thank all of the lovely volunteers who worked so hard setting up the dining room and serving the holiday meal.  I also want to thank the carolers, as well as the approximately 100 guests in attendance -- you filled our big dining room with Christmas Spirit, and I love you all!

On Monday, Nov. 23rd, we will be having roast beef instead of turkey sandwiches.  The menu for the rest of the week will remain unchanged.

Hi everybody!  There is still time to reserve your seat at this month's ice cream social.  We'll have a great lunch (meatloaf!), followed by an ice cream buffet sponsored by our local councilman, Don Rocha.  Mr. Rocha will also be in attendance, so come say, "Hi!"

Our next ice cream social is fast approaching! On Friday, August 14th, we will start things off with a great lunch (Chicken Fajitas), and then we'll end the day with a scrumptious make-your-own-sundae buffet.  Make your reservations now!

On Tuesday, July 21st, we'll have a Hawaiian dance performance, complimentary leis for everyone, and a great lunch. 

The menu for this event was revised today, and will be different from the menu originally published in Camden's Adult 50+ Newsletter.  

The new menu includes:  Teriyaki Beef, Tomato Basil Soup, Brown Rice, Garlic Green Beans, Carrot Raisin Salad, and a delicious Ambrosia.

Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or dress, and join us on this fun day!

Are You a July Baby?

If you are a July baby, make sure to attend our July birthday party on Thursday, July 16th!  We'll have a nice lunch, followed by cake for everyone.  If July is your birthday month, you will get special treatment, of course.  You will receive a birthday goody bag filled with fun treats, and we'll light a candle atop your personal slice of cake, so you can make a birthday wish!

Breathe California

Breathe California, a non-profit whose mission is to promote lung health, gave us a great lunchtime presentation yesterday!  We learned about their variety of free resources and services for seniors.  Thanks, Breathe California!

April 2015 Birthday Party

On Thursday, April 16th, we will have a great lunch, plus birthday cake and bingo.  Everyone is welcome, and guests with April birthdays will receive a special birthday goody bag.  Be sure to tell your server if have an April birthday -- we can put a candle on your slice of cake, so you can make a wish!

Well folks, this promises to be our best St. Patrick's Day Luncheon yet.  This year, on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, in addition to the ever-popular menu of corned beef & cabbage, we will have some great live Irish music.   Seating is limited, so make your reservations soon!
